Fascial Release & Neuromuscular Reeducation

NEURO-STRUCTURAL BODYWORK  is a somatic therapy, which combines a variety of techniques including fascial release, neuromuscular reeducation, craniosacral adjustment and breathwork in restoring balance to the musculoskeletal, nervous and chakra systems.  NEURO-STRUCTURAL BODYWORK  has proven highly effective in:

• releasing fascial restrictions and allowing for new neurological impulses, which support postural balance and free range of motion;
• treating both acute injuries and chronic conditions including strained muscles, upper/lower back and disc problems, frozen shoulder, joint injuries, fibromyalgia, migraines, TMJ and chronic fatigue syndrome;
• dramatically increasing range of motion, sensory perception and motor control as well as enhancing athletic performance and efficiency of movement;
• creating a  more receptive environment for a variety of other modalities (especially chiropractic and physical therapy), increasing results from exercise, and supporting the body in sustaining skeletal adjustments;
• providing a possible alternative to more invasive treatments (including surgery) in cases where the underlying cause of the problem is fascial restriction and/or loss of sensory perception and motor control;
• supporting emotional release and psychological integration therapies; and
• enhancing one’s poise, balance and sense of well-being.

This Program allows student to further their understanding of fascial release and neuro-muscular reeducation.  Emphasis is placed on the theory and practice of exercise modules designed to restore biomechanical alignment to the musculoskeletal system to promote optimal neurological innervation and circulation.
