The Five Keys: An Experiential Evening with Michael Gibian

We’re excited to share that our faculty member Michael Gibian has just published The Five Keys: A Field Guide to Psychological Literacy, along with a companion workbook.

Psychological literacy is especially relevant for massage and bodywork practitioners. Just as we learn to read the body through touch, psychological literacy helps us meet emotions, thoughts, and patterns with clarity and presence. It’s a skillset that deepens somatic awareness, prevents burnout, and supports lasting change.

Michael will be offering a special experiential evening here at the school — blending talk, practice, and guided somatic exercises. You’ll not only hear about The Five Keys, you’ll practice them in real time. This evening also serves as the doorway into his upcoming six-week group program, where the book and workbook come alive through deeper practice and community.
