Trigger Point Therapy (1)

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the applying of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. Sometimes massage and trigger point therapy are performed together.

An introduction to the theory and practice of working with trigger points, including a review of Trigger Point Therapy (TPT) terminology, evaluation of symptoms, effective protocol and contraindications.

Specific TPT palpation and treatment techniques are demonstrated and practiced.
