Description

In this class, students will learn: -The structure and function of myofascial connective tissue, including anatomy trains, -The emotional component of fascia and how it is impacted by trauma. -The purpose and function of postural analysis and assessment, -How to feel for the fascial barrier. Course includes hands-on introductions to the most common forms of fascia work that can be easily incorporated into any massage. These include Skin Rolling, Deep Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofasical Release, Unwinding and Oscillations. This course is one of the prerequisites for the advanced electives in the Focus on Fascia (Myofascial Release) track. 20 CEUs. Course price includes tuition, registration, and 4% processing fee for online payments.
